General Volunteer

Our volunteers are involved in every aspect of life here, from welcoming visitors, milling, bringing the windmill's stories to life as a guide, gardening and taking care of the park around us, inspiring school students we welcome to our unique space and more. Whether or not you already have a passion for mills or exploring London’s hidden heritage stories, we welcome everyone who wants to support us in connecting people to London's last working mill.

We want to support our volunteers to learn/improve their skills, meet new people and to have fun along the way. We don't have a minimum time commitment and would still love to have you on the team if you can only spare a few hours now and then.

Once you have found a role you'd like to try you'll be able to sign up to a rota with other volunteers. We will provide training and support and are open to additional ways you might want to get involved.
